A 72.5 kV indoor-to-outdoor wall bushing can be specified where a conductor passes from an enclosed electrical room to an outdoor connection. Identify the exposed side and installation environment so the housing and insulation arrangement can be confirmed for the selected model.
For a connection between indoor areas, a wall feedthrough insulator separates the live conductor from the surrounding wall or grounded barrier. Check the wall opening, mounting dimensions and terminal positions, especially when replacing an existing unit.
