DIN porcelain transformer bushings provide an insulated passage for a transformer conductor through a grounded tank or cover. The 1 kV DIN 42530 and 3 kV DIN 42539 ranges serve low-voltage terminal connections; the 10–52 kV DIN 42531–42534 ranges serve higher-voltage transformer connections, including the indoor and outdoor designs illustrated above.
